It´s been a while

It´s been a while since my last blog, since I´ve spent quite some time at home in Norway, where it´s too cold to ride bikes right now. Tomorrow I´m leaving for California (Santa Cruz/Aptos area), and looking forward to some warm sun and bike riding. In addition to the local rippers
there´s a bunch of european lads over there right now, including Martin Soderstrom, Andreu Lacon, Mads Makken Haugen, Niels Windfeldt, Sam Pilgrim and so on, so it seems like we´re gonna get some pretty wild sessions over there.
Lately I´ve been doing lots of snowboarding and climbing for a change. I´ve realized that climbing is a great crossover sport for bikeriding. It´s great for all over coordination, strenght and flexibility. Check out this guy speed climb a 400 ft wall with no safety rope. If you see other videos of him online, there´s footage of him 360ing a 2 meter tall XC bike from around 1990. Pretty impressive:-)

Tail whip, double tail whip, Tripple Tail Whip???

Is it the watter in Aptos California that brings out the skill in all the riders there? Last week Cam’s younger brother Tyler McCaul went down to train on the Maga ramp, with Cam and the “Nirto Circus” crew. Tyler showed up and did nothing less then kill it. When a double whip on the maga ramp wasn’t good enough, he pulled out a tripple whip!!!
